Looking Back

In my search for a millimeter flathead screwdriver, I remembered having one stored away in my old backpack. I found my backpack with relative ease and proceeded to take it back to my room and sifted through the contents of the bag. I didn’t find the screwdriver, but I did find a bunch of memories.
Old drawings, schoolwork, phone numbers, notes, tickets, posters, signatures from old friends, possessions I forgot I even had. It was nice seeing these things again. I didn’t enjoy seeing my old handwriting however, most of it is illegible.
I sat there for a good hour or two, just looking at all of my old stuff. Completely forgetting that I needed to disassemble something. I’d do anything to relive the parts of my life that these simple things reminded me of.
